Last Sunday the third round of Pennants was played. Canowindra 1 defeated Cowra 10 points to nil while Canowindra 2 defeated Molong 9 points to 1. Thanks to the bowling ladies for preparing sandwiches for high tea.
Saturday August 27 – Championship games may be played at any time by mutual agreement.
Sunday August 28 – Fourth round of Pennants to be played. Canowindra 1 play Eugowra at Eugowra. Teams are – C Rooke, K Perry, D Beath and R Fitzgerald. P Jones, T Tuimauga, A Robson and M Lawrence. B Rooke, L Nunn, P Lees and D Crowe. Canowindra 2 play Manildra at home. Teams are – T Mooney, N Knight, B McClintock and T Fisher. M Wright, D Watt, M Traves and B Bourke. B Church, L Salvatucci, T Hoy and H Webb.
