Well done to St Edward’s students Tom Phelan, Fergus Townsend and Alex Rice who competed at the Diocesan Athletics Carnival held in Dubbo on Friday 19th August. The boys had a great day despite the wet and cold conditions and put in a fantastic effort to gain some excellent results.
Tom placed 6th in High Jump, Fergus placed 2nd in Shot Put and Alex came 1st in Discus and 5th in Shot Put. Fergus and Alex will now advance on to the Polding Athletics Carnival to be held in Newcastle on 9th September.
