The opening days of the Cargo Waste Management Facility are changing.
Commencing Tuesday 23rd August the new days of operation will be Tuesday and Saturday 9am-1pm and 2pm-4pm.
Accepted at the Cargo Waste Management Facility are general household waste and green waste and household recyclables including: paper and cardboard, glass bottles and jars, steel and aluminium cans, all plastic bottles and containers marked 1,2,3,4,5,6,7 and juice and milk cartons.
Bulk loads of steel will no longer be accepted by this facility, however two skip bins onsite will be available for smaller amounts of steel.
Bulky waste will not be accepted including mattresses, bulky furniture, cupboards or tables, tyres, lounge suits, recliner chairs, large or bulky plastic moulded items, car and truck parts. Gas bottles, paint, or oil will not be accepted either.
Bulk steel and bulky waste is accepted at the Manildra, Canowindra, Eugowra and Cumnock waste facilities. Gas bottles, paint and oil are accepted at the Manildra facility only.
Canowindra Waste Management Facility is open Wednesday and Sunday 9am to 1pm and 2pm to 4pm.
