Our Bloke – Jacob Moriarty

11 August, 2022 By Canowindra Phoenix Editor

How long have you lived in or around Canowindra and what do you like about living here? I have lived here for about 5 years now. I like living in a small town and like that everything you need you can get conveniently in town.

Where do you work and what do you enjoy most about where you work? I work at Viridis Ag as a Farm Hand. I enjoy the flexibility and diversity of my job, each day I get to do something different.

What do you do to unwind on weekends? I usually go to the Pub on Friday night and then catch up with my family.

What are you really good at? Driving tractors.

What’s on your bucket list? To travel around Australia.

If you could have a superpower, what would it be and why? Speed, so I could be everywhere anytime I wanted.

Tell us about your best holiday ever… We often go to Bateman’s Bay and head out fishing, we also went to Narooma and saw the seals.

What makes your day? Coming home at night happy and seeing my dogs.

Tell us an interesting fact about yourself… I’m a very social guy.
