Art Mentor Sue Hodge with David Bullock and Councillor O’Ryan
The opening of Canowindra Art Gallery’s first mentoring program for 2022 was held at the Gallery in Gaskill St last Friday night. It was a huge success and was well attended by pupils, parents, extended family members and friends.
Over 50 works by children from the area were on display and the exhibition was officially opened by Councillor O’Ryan. The Program Mentor, Sue Hodge said “It was such a pleasure to be able to hold an exhibition this year without the Covid restrictions of the two previous years.”
Deputy Mayor Councillor Jamie Jones and Councillor Jenny Weaver also attended the function.
Mentoring Program number 2 for 2022 is underway at The Little Art Company and an exhibition of works from that group will be held at Canowindra Art Gallery over the first weekend in September.
