Last Monday an O’Brien Cup match was played with Brent and Maddie Lees against Jack and Harry Webb. Jack and Harry won the match 34-24.
Last Saturday an O’Brien Cup match was played with Nick Delaney and Crock Watt against Tot Fisher and Peter Taylor. Nick and Crock combined well to win the match.
Last Sunday a Major Triples match was played with Luke Barry and Brad Bourke against Tot Fisher, Crock Watt and Mick Traves. Mick’s team took control early in the match to have a comfortable win 23-9.
An O’Brien Cup match was also played with Barry Bourke and Mick Traves against Margo and Phil Lees. This was a close scoring match with Barry and Mick leading 18-17 after 19 ends. Phil and Margo wereable to score 6 shots on the last two endsto win the match 23-18.
Saturday July 23: Jamie Grant Bowls Day. Mixed, Men, Women and Mufti Turn Around Triples. Prizes for winners and runners up. Names in by 12.30pm for 1pm start. Single nominations or teams of three. $20 per head includes food and 3 raffle tickets. Raffle prize a $70 meat tray.
Sunday July 24: Minor Triples Final at 11am – M Wright, Barry and Brad Bourke v C Rooke, B Rooke and J Webb.
Other games not drawn may be played by mutual agreement. It would be appreciated that games previously drawn but not played can now be played.
Only renewed memberships from July 16th will be eligible for badge draws.
Wednesday badge draw will be $300, Friday badge draw will be $800 and Sunday badge draw will be $450. Don’t forget Bingo this Thursday at 11am.
