The Canowindra Show will be going ahead in 2022 after two years of it being cancelled due to COVID. The Show will run from Friday 23rd September to Saturday 24th September 2022 at Canowindra Showground.
The committee are very busy putting the show together and are excited to announce that the Canowindra Young Woman and Rural Achiever Program will be run this year.
The Young Woman Competition recognises and celebrates the efforts of women within the community, creating an advocate for women and agriculture. While the Rural Achiever program aims to recognise both men and women making waves in the local community and in particular agriculture.
Applications are now open for the following categories: Canowindra Show Young Woman (Aged 18-24), Canowindra Show Junior Young Woman (Aged 14-17) and Rural Achiever both male and female (Aged 20-29).
“We’re adapting to the times this year and holding a Facebook Live information session for both the Canowindra Young Woman and Rural Achiever Programs,” said organiser Meg Austin.
“If you’re curious as to what these programs are all about, mark the 25th August 2022 in your diary and tune in,” continued Miss Austin.
