Canowindra Librarian Rossanne Holmes ready for Storytime.
Canowindra Library is testing new Library opening hours for a 3 month trial that began on 1st June 2022. The new hours being trialled are Tuesday 2-5pm, Thursday 10am-1pm and 2pm-6pm and Friday 10-1pm and 2-5pm.
The Library have also decided to move the Thursday morning Storytimes to an earlier timeslot of 10.15am during school terms. It is hoped the new time may better suit parents, carers and pre-schoolers. At Storytime, Librarian Rossanne reads books, sings songs and hosts craft to encourage engagement with books, language and literacy. The 30 minute sessions are lively and stimulating for both children and adults.
