Three Songwriters I.R.L will perform live at Perennialle Plants on Friday evening.
Canowindra will come alive this weekend with musical concerts around the village to suit everyone’s ears!
“The concerts cater to a range of musical tastes and will be held in various excellent venues around Canowindra,” said local musician Nerida Cuddy.
The weekend will kick off with The Palms Markets in Gaskill Street on Friday afternoon from 4pm. On offer will be arts and crafts, plants, food, fresh local produce, meat and local wine. After a couple of months off Oli Statham will return to The Palms this Friday to sing a song or two and lead the open mic sessions.
Following the markets Three Songwriters I.R.L including Craig Sinclair, Snez and Nerida Cuddy will entertain the crowd at Perennialle Plants from 7.30-10pm. Tickets are $30 and must be brought online prior to the event at www.events.humanitix.com/ three-songwriters-in-real-life
On Saturday “Anna the Indomitable” show, will showcase 19th Century ballads and arias and will be performed at All Saints Anglican Church at 3pm. Tickets are $30pp and can be booked via the website www.trybooking.com/BYQUK
Local guitarist, pianist, singer and songwriter Kent Eastwood will then take to the stage at The Blue Jacket Motel with doors opening at 6.30pm for a 7.30pm start with tickets available at www.123tix.com.au/ events/24058 for $35pp.
The musical weekend will conclude on Sunday at All Saints Anglican Church at 3pm with “Bright Star” including freshly composed works of hope and healing for soprano and piano. Tickets can be purchased online at www.trybooking.com/BYRDF for $30.
“After two years of lockdowns, cancellations and staying at home, it’s time to celebrate being together, and also to support live musicians, many of whom are travelling to Canowindra to share their music,” said local musician Nerida Cuddy.
