Kent Eastwood will perform live at Eddy’s of Canowindra presented by Canowindra Music & Events Co. on Saturday, 21st May 2022.
This will be a concert tailored to the wonderful al fresco atmosphere at Eddy’s.
Kent is equally at home behind a piano, guitar, microphone or production desk, he is a true artist, a multi-instrumentalist who lives and breathes music, and delights in its creation and performance.
“Piano, guitar and vocals are my main workhorses. I really enjoy singing and I think my voice sounds better now than it does on early recordings I hear of myself. I also picked up a little bit of harmonica. My mum always had a piano accordion in the house, so I used to mess around on that and later-on got a lot of work and did one of my most notable session recordings playing piano accordion,” said Kent.
Growing up in the company of folk, Americana and acoustic greats such as Cohen, Dylan and Springsteen, Kent Eastwood’s song writing style leans into the precious and sometimes bittersweet moments of everyday life, inviting and welcoming the listener into intimate worlds that might otherwise be glossed over.
“Influences are always changing because as an artist I’m always looking to be inspired and find something new. I think of influences as old and new. Sometimes I’ll watch a film or simply be driving through the countryside and something visual will provoke thought and give me an idea for a lyric or production technique,” said Kent.
“I’m really looking forward to putting on this show, nothing beats performing in front of a live audience and I can’t wait for May 21! This will be a concert tailored to the wonderful Al Fresco atmosphere at Eddy’s,” concluded Kent.
Gate opens at 6.00pm at Eddy’s of Canowindra, this will be an evening in the gardens (outdoor show). Tickets are $35pp show only or $70pp including grazing box for 2 and available at 123tix.com.au
