Last Friday night 12 bowlers played mixed mufti bowls with the winners being Steve Kirkman and Jeanette Wheeldon and the runners up being Joice McNaught and Liz Thornberry.
Last Saturday two Major Singles matches were played. Phil Lees played Peter Taylor, Phil won the match 31-2. Harry Webb played Ben Rooke where Ben got the upper hand winning 31-17.
A Major Pairs match was also played with Teddy Lawrence and Barney Robson against Tot Fisher and Crock Watt. Tot and Crock tried hard where Barney and Teddy had a comfortable win.
Last Sunday two Major Singles were played. Teddy Lawrence played Roger Traves in a close scoring game with Roger winning 31-26. Brad Bourke played Crock Watt where Bourkey had a comfortable win 32-14.
A Minor Singles match was also played with Brian McClintock against Tot Fisher. Clinka led throughout the game winning the match 31-10.
Saturday April 9: Fuzz Thompson Memorial Triples Day – 9am for 9.30am start.
Sunday April 10: Major Singles – S Kirkman v D Watt and Marker A Wyburn. Minor Singles – M Wright v J Webb and Marker T Hoy. B Bourke v N Knight and Marker T Fisher.
