Canowindra Garden Club members enjoying “Hillandale” Garden.
The Canowindra Garden Club has started 2022 with an enjoyable trip to “Hillandale” at Yetholme owned by Mrs Sarah Ryan last week.
The ladies enjoyed a meeting and afternoon tea at Carolyn Wythes Garden last week before venturing to Yetholme.
As a new member to the Garden Club, Kathryn Spice from Spice Landscapes thoroughly enjoyed the day out and said “No amount of schooling can compete with local knowledge. What, where, when, how these beautiful ladies of the Garden Club know it all.”
“I am also feeling lucky to be among the last visitors to experience the amazing “Hillandale” garden,” continued Kathryn.
The Garden Club has an action-packed year planned for 2022. On April 20th they will head to Anfield Gardens in Orange. May 18th the Club will head to “Springfield” in Cowra and on 15th June there will be a celebratory 30th Birthday Lunch at the CWA Hall in Canowindra.
The AGM will be held on 17th August at 2pm at Cheryl Wythes Garden in Canowindra and then once Spring starts the Club will head to the Rustic Maze and Country Garden in Montegale for the September gathering.
