It was a very enjoyable day playing bowls on Tuesday, very overcast and rain pending, however we were able to finish dry and happy.
Two Major Singles were played. Libby Balcombe defeated Sandy McDonald 25-6 and Deanna Noble defeated Jenny Middleton 25-9.
Two Minor Singles were also played, Sharon Wynn defeated Leanne Stevenson 25-12 and Karen Cox defeated Di Slattery 25-17.
One Social Game was also played, Di Mooney played one and two positions and Jeanette Wheeldon defeated Joyce Boland, Daph Bryant and Christine Pickard 39-1.
Next Tuesday is the 80th Birthday of the Canowindra Women’s Bowls, everyone please wear the 80th shirt and please come at 8.30am for photos.
