Women’s Bowls

Sixteen women played bowls on Tuesday, 1 February and despite the heat, all enjoyed the day.

The Bowls Pairs of L Stevenson and G Haydon – 15 played J Middleton and C Pickard – 13.

In the Bowls Triples; S Wynn, M Wilson and J Wheeldon – 34 played D Bryant, J Messenger and B Jenkins. P Nash, D Slattery and D Mooney – 17 played L Balcome, N Morrow and D Noble – 12.

Next Week the first round of the Major Singles commences, where Betty Jenkins is to play Daphne Bryant and Jeanette Wheeldon to mark.
