Grahram Rice

How long have you lived in Canowindra? 25 years

What made you move here? I wanted to come back to the country, and then I bought the Newsagency

Where do you work? – Canowindra Newsagency

What do you love most about working there? I like the early morning characters that come in, they really start my day

How do you start your day? Strong coffee and the early morning paper run

What do you do in your spare time? I enjoy gardening and I also manage the rugby union players team (Pythons)

What is your favourite football team? Cronulla Sharks

How many children and grandchildren do you have? 3 children and 5 grandchildren

How long have you been married? 39 years, we met in year 9 so we are high school sweethearts!

What local committees are you associated with? Treasurer of Rugby Union, Treasurer of the Business Chamber and I’m on the Fitness Path committee

What makes your day? Being in Canowindra and I also enjoy seeing all the footballers I used to train when they were little and to see how far they have come.
