Last Friday night 14 bowlers played mixed mufti bowls with the winners being Joice McNaught and Doug Nash and the runners up being Brad Bourke and John Cousins. The mixed pairs final was also played with Terry and Di Mooney against Mick Traves and Penny Nash. After 15 ends the scores were close being 23-22 in favor of Mick and Penny. Over the last 6 ends Mick and Penny were able to edge away to win the final 30-24.
Last Saturday three consistency singles matches were played. Teddy Lawrence played Sparky Wright where Teddy had a comfortable win 150-120. Larry Nunn played Trevor Hoy in a close scoring game where Trevor got over the line winning 153-152. You could say Number 1 Nunn got done. Tot Fisher played Crock Watt where Tot had a handy lead 111- 78 after 14 ends. After this Crock was able to bridge the gap and edge away winning the match 152-138.
Last Sunday the O’Brien Cup final was played with Harry and Jack Webb against Brad Bourke and Sparky Wright. Brad and Sparky were able to lead throughout the game to win the final 34-27. A consistency singles match was also played with Nigel Knight against David Crowe where Crowy had a comfortable win 152-113.
Friday December 17: Twilight social mixed mufti bowls with names in by 6pm for 6.30pm start.

Sunday December 19: Consistency singles – Winner of match between Roger Traves and Ian Nelder to play A Wyburn Marker L Nunn. D Beath V J Webb Marker B Bourke.
