The Christmas spirit is well and truly alive in the Canowindra community this year.
The Canowindra Business and Progress Association (CBPA) is feeling especially jolly this festive season. The Christmas Shopping in Canowindra Promotion will be filled with lots of celebration and prizes to be won. There will be shop window displays, a Selfie with an Elf on a Shelf scavenger hunt and lovely street decorations, also ac-companied by talented local musicians and dancers performing in the street to reflect the holiday joy.
It is anticipated that the streets will be buzzing with utter glee with the excitement that has been arousing among locals leading up to the promotion.
“From Monday the 15th of November, the CBPA reminds us to shop local for gifts and feasting supplies this holiday season.” Danielle Kinsela from the CBPA stated.
“The Christmas shopping in Canowindra Promotion will be advertised throughout the region by Cabonne Council and Orange 360.” She said, “This promotion is about community spirit and the joy of living locally, loving locals and supporting locals.”
“On Thursday the 18th of November there will be a twilight, “V.I.L Very Important Locals” shopping evening and on the morning of Saturday the 20th of November, Gaskill Street will be a buzz again with music in the air and joy filled shoppers taking to the streets! The CBPA will draw prizes just after lunch out the front of the Old Vic.” Danielle said.
Rosnay and Friends will have an open-air market stall at “The Palms”. There will also be many options for gifts and homewares from Finns, Blue Bowerbird, Frock on, The Saddlery and Virginia Cullane Books just to name a few.
“If you can’t make it out or enjoy shopping from the comfort of your home. Many of the local Canowindra businesses have the option to shop online or click and collect options.”
