On behalf of the entire crew and cast of Strangerland, we want to say a huge THANK YOU to the people of Canowindra for their warm welcome and patience during the recent filming and subsequent clean up.
We are very aware of the considerable impact the production had on the community – including the disturbances to parking and shopping and the annoyance of the red dust we brought to town. The people of Canowindra were remarkably tolerant and hospitable throughout the entire experience, for which we are very grateful.
In turn, we hope that the profile the film will continue to bring to Canowindra will have long-term benefits for all in the community.
