Grants To Improve ‘Liveability’

12 August, 2021 By Canowindra Phoenix Editor

Applications are open for the first round of Cabonne Council’s 2021-22 Community Assistance Program grants.

These grants are designed to support projects that maintain the strength and vibrancy of Cabonne’s towns and villages.

This is a competitive program that provides support for organisations focused on delivering positive benefits to Cabonne residents and contributing to the delivery of Council’s strategic priorities.

In order to be eligible for the Community Assistance Program, applicants must be a not-for-profit organisation in the Cabonne Local Government Area and be undertaking a project on non-commercial facilities within the shire.

Each project will be assessed on its merits and the relative benefit it will return to the community. Grants are provided on a 50:50 basis, but communities can provide their half of the funding through voluntary labour or in-kind contributions.

Applications for CAP funding close at 5pm on Friday, September 24, 2021. The application form is available on Council’s website. Further details about the grants can be obtained by contacting Cabonne Council on 6392 3200
