Professor Michael Atherton with his wife Catherine and son Jared visited the Age of Fishes weekend. Mike undertook a three month fellowship at the Australian Museum in 1998 where he met Dr. Alex Ritchie, the finder of the fabulous fossil slabs on display at the museum and became interested in Canowindra. He loved our “fabulous Museum and lovely town.”
