The 44th Canowindra Debutante Ball was held last Saturday the 5th of April at the Canowindra Services Club Hall. In total there was 12 girls who were introduced into society as young ladies and graced the dance floor in their stunning white gowns alongside their Deb partners.

The Debutantes danced to two songs played by Dearne Curtis and they all overcame their nerves and enjoyed themselves.

The Debutantes were Madeline Troth & Rhys Maere, Sarah Clunes & Sam Townsend, Alicia Earsman & Jake Wythes, Emerald Gilson & Ebann Malae, Rachel Wynn & Blake Cramer, Brittany Wilson & Jayden Pender, Hayley White & Regan Hughes, Jennifer Holmes & Talby Upton, Katelin Felstead & David Mood, India Thurtell & Nick Perry, Brooke Said & Tinei Sauvao, Melana Pearce & Harry Whatman.

On behalf of the organizers of the Debutante Ball, thank you to Bill Paul’s Carpet Centre for supplying the red carpet, Mandy Townsend for the beautiful teal coloured cake and the Canowindra Trading Post and Canowindra Services Club for their support.

The entertainment of the night was the Band ‘Nuthin’ 2 Serious’ who really got the crowd going, in which some great dance moves were discovered.

All the girls looked absolutely stunning and the boys scrubbed up all right as well. Overall the night was enjoyed by all.
