Canowindra Junior Cricket Round Three

3 December, 2020 By Canowindra Phoenix Editor

Stage Three hosted the Cowra Strikers last week. The Strikers won the toss and elected to bat. Canowindra’s bowling and fielding was up and down this week but they were able to keep the Strikers to a total score of 124. Wicket scores: three wickets from three overs by Hughey Breen, two wickets each for Bailey Kennedy and Colby Burling and one wicket to Mitch Stephens.

Top scores with the bat this week: Hughey Breen 31, Toby Fisher 24, Ethan Burling 15 and Archie MacDonald 14.

The boys came up three runs short from victory but are looking forward to travelling to Grenfell this week. Our man of the match last week was Toby Fisher.
