If you are overweight, obese
have diabetes, heart disease
watch out for these critters please
do not fall for the fat and heart hypothesis.
They are hiding in your lattes
yet they are absent in long black
they are lurking in your cornflakes
and will get you down the track.
There are very few in bacon
but they are lurking in the toast
chook eggs have almost none of them
and that what’s powdery white has mos.
Will pump in loads of insulin
will set you storing fat
will get you up then quickly down
a spike and then a flat.
Avoid these little bastards
for they are not your mate
stay away from sugars, pies and custards
you must limit carbo-hyd-r-ate.
