On Tuesday, 17th November, Canowindra Women’s Bowls played the finals of the handicap pairs. The match was between L. Thornberry (sub L. Balcombe), R. Tatterson and J. Messenger and K. Cox. L. Balcombe and R. Tatterson were crowned the winners by a decent margin. These bowlers played extremely well. Congratulations to all players!
There were also two games of triples which were played socially and enjoyed by the ladies.
The general meeting for the Canowindra Women’s Bowls directly followed Tuesday’s games where a variety of matters were discussed. Plans were made for a day out to Blayney to visit the Drayshed Nursery on December 1st. The group also made arrangements for their annual Presentation Day to be held December 8th. This will bring an end to the bowling year for 2020.
