Round two saw Canowindra host Grenfell. Top scores with the bat were Hugh Breen (52 not out), Riley Bollinger (18), Bailey Kennedy (10), with a total score of 102. The fielding and bowling performance was outstanding.
At the 20 over drinks break, Grenfell were 3/58. The boys bounced back to control the game taking three wickets for 28 runs. A caught and bowled effort from Ethan Burling saw Canowindra needing just one wicket to win. The final wicket came from Toby Fisher with a superb delivery for LBW.
It was a cracking effort by the boys with Archie McDonald 2 wickets for 5 runs, Beau Bollinger 2 wickets for 7 runs, and Ethan Burling (Man of the Match) 3 wickets for 4 runs including a wicket maiden.
