Ladies Golf

22 October, 2020 By Canowindra Phoenix Editor

For the Picnic Day golfers played the final Par Event. It was the final day to get any birdies or gobbles added to the tally for the year as well. Who would enjoy a Par game for a Fun Day? Well there was only one lady who came close to playing a great game and that was Helen Kemper, coming in with a +1 !! Well done Helen.

We believe Annie should share in the lime light as well. No one managed to snavel that last gobble or birdie, so all will be revealed at Presentation Day on Wednesday November 25th. Still a few weeks of golf before then, we have a 2 person Ambrose, followed by trophy day (where every player wins a prize).

Wellington tournament is Thursday 29th October and names are required before the day. Our AGM will see the following committee tackle 2021; President Helen Constable, Vice President Rhonda Ward, Secretary Eileen Wilson, Treasurer Lorrae Barker, Captain Annette Thomas, Vice Captain Collette Armstrong, also committee members Ann Cassidy, Edna Hughes Marea Agustin, Fay Thomas and welcome to Roslyn Partridge.

Thanks to all volunteers who work on our course, it is a huge challenge at the moment to stay ahead of the growth rate.
