Four local junior cricketers last week represented Lachlan Cricket Council in the U14s Max Shephard Shield at Dubbo.
The 3 day invitational carnival is a lead up tournament to open the representative season in the Central Southern and Far West regions of NSW.
The Lachlan U14s team which consists of players selected from Cowra, Forbes, Parkes, West Wyalong and Condobolin districts played four games of cricket in three days winning 3/4 and finishing a close 2nd in the overall points tally.
Teams from Orange, Bathurst and Dubbo were participants in the carnival. The four local boys all contributed taking wickets and scoring runs.
