Swimming Club Presentation Night was held at the Services Club on Friday night where the first season in the new pool was celebrated.

Before this Jarrod Strange was installed as the new President of swimming club and now joins Mrs Cramp vice president; secretary Kevin Smyth; treasurer Andrew Holmes; race secretary’s Rossanne Holmes and Lisa Cartwright; registrar Sharon Hawker.

Well earned ‘thanks you’ went to Chris Rowston, squad trainer who had his trainees ready for anything, and Jarrod and Lisa for great pool managers who are always ready with anything the swimmers needed.

Pointscore Winners:

8 years and under girls Eden Hawker, runner up Rianna Reeves; and boys winner Dominic Smyth , runner up Toby Fisher.
9/10 years girls champion Claire Wright, runner up Anja Gower; and boys winner Samuel Austin, runner up Ryan Ellis.
11/12 years girls champion Laura Flannery, runner up Josie Clements; and boys champion Wade Kinsela, runner up Finbar Smyth.
13/14 girls champion Amelia Holmes, runner up Brooke Kinsela; and boys champion Angus Fisher, runner up Will Wright.
15/16 girls champion Meg Austin, runner up Alicia Earsman; and boys Regan Hughes, runner up Max Wensley.
17 years & over girls Amara Flannery, runner up Samantha Flannery; and boys Stewart Russell, runner up Finlay Rowston.

Thanks to everyone for a great season now look forward to the next one when the pool re opens in mid October.
