A good number of ladies have been enjoying golf over the last few weeks, some days a little cold and the wet weather has made the course a little heavy.
The Foursome Championship leaders after Round 1 were Lorrae and Fay, Round 2 saw Annette and Eileen take the lead with Helen and Julie hot on their heels. Round 3 was tightly contested and wasn’t decided until the 18th when Helen and Julie had a little trouble with the Blue Yabby in the dam which gave Annette and Eileen a leg up to a slim victory.
Last week the ladies played the 4th Par Event with Lorrae being the only one to come close to playing the course well, coming in the winner with -2.
The next game will be the monthly medal and putting as well as the Legacy Cup.
The draw for the Eileen Garnsey Memorial Match play has been done and games are now under way. The ladies have also decided to hold the tournament on Thursday 10th September.
