Our Bloke… Reverend Jono Williams

How long have you lived here? – 3 and half years

What made you move to Canowindra? – Family reasons and I moved here after being the Chaplain of the Bathurst Gaol

Where do you work? – At the Parish of Canowindra which covers Anglican Churches in Woodstock and Canowindra, and Uniting Churches in Canowindra, Cudal and Cranbury. I also assist in neighbouring parishes.

What do you love about working there? – Helping people and sharing the love of god

How do you start your day? – With a coffee

How do you like your coffee? – Flat white, preferably from the Trading Post

What do you do in your spare time? – I have limited spare time but when I can I like to go four wheel driving and bush walking with my 13 year old son

What’s the best job you have had? – Love being the Parish Priest in Canowindra, such a welcoming community here and have no plans to move at this stage.
