Council Matters: At its Ordinary Meeting on 23rd June 2020, Cabonne Council resolved to place the following documents on exhibition for public comment: The Active Transport Plan – Pedestrian Access Mobility Plan (PAMP) and The Active Transport Plan – Bike Plan. These documents are now available for public inspection and comment until 5pm on Friday 7 August 2020. Written submissions should be addressed to the General Manager, PO Box 17 Molong or can be emailed to council@cabonne.nsw.gov.au All documents are located on Cabonne Council’s website: https://www.cabonne.nsw.gov.au/Council/Public-Notices. The Draft Canowindra Mainstreet Precinct Issues paper is also on exhibition for public inspection and comment until this Sunday 26th July 2020.
$3,000 Grants for Small Business: Eligible small businesses can apply for NSW Government recovery grants of up to $3,000 to help get back to business by meeting the costs of safely reopening or upscaling operations. The grant can be used to make fit-out changes, provide staff training and counselling, cover advertising and communications expenses and purchase cleaning products or services. To check eligibility and apply visit the Service NSW website by Sunday, 16th August 2020.
