Iconic Hotel Re-Opens Its Doors

18 June, 2020 By Canowindra Phoenix Editor

Rob Morris is glad to be back pouring beers at The Canowindra Hotel.

The iconic Canowindra Hotel in Gaskill Street has resumed trading now that some of the COVID-19 restrictions have eased.

Owner, Paul Brouwers is relieved that the Hotel is heading back to some kind of normalcy now that the NSW Government has lifted some restrictions.

“It has been a tough three months for the whole hospitality industry,” said Mr Brouwers“.

I am very grateful to the Canowindra community for their support during the lockdown period, with many locals purchasing takeaway meals and takeaway alcohol each week from the Hotel,” Mr Brouwers said.

The Canowindra Hotel is now open for Dinner Wednesday to Saturday from 5.30pm and will serve Lunch on Friday, Saturday and Sunday from 12noon.

The Hotel has poker machines and TAB facilities for all to enjoy. A new menu will also be launching in the coming weeks.

The Hotel will be operating in a COVID-19 safe way moving forward, with hand sanitising stations in place, you must sign in on entry to the premises and social distancing rules are being adhered to.

Bookings are preferred for lunch and dinner by calling 6344 1407, with walk ins also welcome.
