Cabonne Council Goes Cashless To Minimise Spread Of Coronavirus

26 March, 2020 By Canowindra Phoenix Editor

As the coronavirus pandemic escalates, Cabonne Council will not be accepting any cash transactions as of Wednesday 25th March 2020.

To protect the health of Council staff and the community and to minimise the spread of the virus, Cabonne Council will only be processing card transactions at its offices at Molong, Cudal and Canowindra.

First Choice Credit Union transactions will be suspended at Council’s offices for the next two weeks, with the situation to be reviewed every two weeks.

New payment arrangements will also be introduced at the Council’s waste disposal depots at Canowindra, Cargo, Cumnock, Eugowra, Manildra and Yeoval from Saturday 28th March 2020.
