2020 School Leaders Announced

Canowindra Public School Leaders for 2020 (L-R) Prefects Claire Neville and Audrey Pearce, Jack Smyth Vice Captain, Hannah Gordon and Tom Maloney School Captains, Nina Cuddy Vice Captain, Toby Stephens and Charlie Slattery Prefects and Principal Sharon Hawker.

Earlier this week both Canowindra Public School and St Edward’s Primary School announced their new leadership team for 2020 to the delight of the students.

At the End of Year Presentation night on Monday, St Edward’s School Captains Hillary Townsend and Cooper Breen were announced. Other school leaders for 2020 include Isaac D’Anastasi as Library Monitor and Josie Brown, Imogen Thurgate and Jolene D’Anastasi as Sports Captains.

On Tuesday at Canowindra Public School the school celebrated the end of 2019 at their Presentation Day with a large crowd of students, friends and family gathering.

Jenny Zhao was named Dux of the School for 2019, Hayley Stephens received the Cabonne Council Citizenship and Community Service Award, Finn Hamer was awarded the Overall Achievement Award for Academics, Sporting, Cultural and Social areas in the School and Ludie Rogers was awarded the Ken’s Service Centre Award for Sportsmanship.

The 2020 Leaders at Canowindra Public School include:
• School Captains – Hannah Gordon and Tom Maloney.
• Vice Captains – Nina Cuddy and Jack Smyth.
• Prefects – Audrey Pearce, Claire Neville, Charlie Slattery and Toby Stephens.
