Our Bloke – Timothy Clark

28 November, 2019 By Canowindra Phoenix Editor

How long have you lived in or around Canowindra and what do you like about living here? I have been living in Canowindra for the past 7 years when my family moved here from the Blue Mountains, I enjoy how quiet living out here is.

Where do you work and what do you enjoy most about your work? I work at the Canowindra Services Club, I enjoy the interactions with patrons talking and getting to know people. I also deliver the Phoenix papers to both Parkes, and the Hilltop areas, I enjoy the routine nature of this work.

What do you do to unwind after work or on weekends? When not working I enjoy playing video games online with my friends, I also enjoy running in the mornings and kayaking occasionally on weekends at Wyangala.

What are you really good at? I am proficient at many things, but I think the thing I’m best at is managing my time proficiently when concerning work and social life.

What is your pet hate? I hate when the tigers lose.

If you could have a super power what would it be and why? The ability to time travel, as the past has always interested me.

Tell us about your best holiday ever? My favourite holiday was when my Mum, Dad, and I when over to the UK, France and Belgium. It was enjoyable meeting our overseas family in England for the first time, the food in France was delicious, and visiting war memorials in Belgium was a bit of an eye opener.

What makes your day? The Earth spinning.
