Our Gal… Nancy Morrow

How long have you lived in Canowindra?  I lived in Albion Park for 21 years, Robertson for 28 years and Canowindra for 21 years.

Why did you move here?  We bought a dairy farm – I worked on dairy farms for 60 years, I was also raised by dairy farmers and my daughters are all dairy farmers.

Tell us about your family life… I was one of nine children, my mother Letitia is still alive she is 92 years of age and going strong. I had four children of my own, 1 son and 3 daughters, I have 16 grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren.

What Football Team do you go for?  Illawarra Dragons

How do you like your coffee? Cappuccino

What type of community work are you involved in? I have been a Secretary for the Womens Bowling Club for 6 years; I am a Director of the Bowling Club, on the Committee for the Happy Wanderers and Moorbel Hall Markets.

Who would you like to have dinner with?  Nicole Kidman and Beccy Cole (you might just get the chance with Nicole Kidman Nancy!)

Do you play sport?  I play Bowls

What do you do in your spare time? Gardening and hanging out with my partner Bob

What do you love about Canowindra? My family is here and the people are so friendly, and I have heaps of good friends here as well, I never get bored!
