Canowindra Christmas Day Lunch
The Canowindra Christmas Day Lunch began in 2012 and was held at the CWA Hall. Since then the Canowindra Bowling Club has generously provided the venue for the past 6 years.
Due to health and family commitments the Committee now needs a “change of the guard”.
The foundation has been established and it would be wonderful to have a community group or members of the community to come on board and take over the organisation and running of the day. The committee is happy to guide any volunteer/s with the method found to be successful.
A meeting to discuss the future of the Christmas Day Lunch will be held in the CWA Rooms, Blatchford Street, Canowindra on Monday 11th November at 2pm. Anyone interested in being involved in preparing and serving the lunch is welcome to attend and be part of the small group who manage this very worthy cause.
