Results of three Rose Bowl Handicap Singles matches played on Tuesday, 29th October. Libby Balcombe defeated Jenny Middleton 26-21. Christine Pickard defeated Penny Nash 25-20. Deanna Noble defeated Lorne Burgess 27-14. Thanks to the Markers Liz Thornberry, Leanne Stevenson & Gwen Haydon.
One Match in the Rose Bowl was played on Thursday, 24th October. Deanna Noble defeated Leanne West 25-17. Christine Pickard defeated Gwen Haydon 25-22. This Match was played in Gooloogong.
There were two social games played. Joice McNaught & Sue Lynch defeated Joyce Middleton & Dianne Mooney 21-18. Daph Bryant, Moyna Rue & Sandy McDonald defeated Nancy Morrow, Marion Wilson & Robyn 19-18.
It was great having Sue & Robyn visiting us from the Tumut Club, we are sure that they enjoyed their morning with us.
The Lucky Draw was won by Liz Thornberry with No. 25.
It will be Melbourne Cup Day on Tuesday, 5th November & no bowls will be played. Sweeps will be sold & a Chinese Lunch is available for $12. There will also be a Fashion Parade at 1 pm. So please dressed up in your Melbourne Cup clothes.

We were sorry to hear of the recent death of Betty McCarron & our sympathy is extended to her daughters Julie & Vicky. When Betty lived in Canowindra she was a member of our club for many years & was an excellent bowler winning some Championships & Competitions.
