An Investment In The Future Of Agriculture!

17 October, 2019 By Canowindra Phoenix Editor

Australian National Field Days’ Mick Wood , Jayne West and Bree McMinn.

The 2019 Australian National Field Days (ANFD) is set to be a real investment in the future of agriculture according to ANFD Manager, Jayne West.

“The prime purpose of the ANFD continues to be to assist the agricultural industry by providing those involved with the opportunity of gaining first-hand knowledge of the latest trends in agricultural equipment and technology,” Jayne outlined.

“Participation by exhibitors and attendance by industry and other visitors is part of the collaborative investment in agriculture and the success of the event year after year.”

“It’s amazing how the Australian agriculture industry continues to pull together in good times and in bad to move forward. It’s no wonder our industry represents one of the most advanced with the sophistication of Australia’s agricultural land management continuing to increase and our farmers among the most self-sufficient in the world.”

“Innovation is vital to the growth, profit- ability and sustainability of Australia’s rural industries. Here at the ANFD, we are proud to be a central part of that process. We look forward to the exciting new products that will be unveiled and demonstrated.”

Events like the field days provide a sense of community and support for rural families

which is especially important after the extended dry season experienced.

“This is really one of the only events that brings together in one place the huge range of people involved in agriculture, families, rural and regional support industries, and the community,” Jayne outlined.

“While we still have a strong focus on showcasing agricultural innovation and the cutting edge of technology, people who make the annual pilgrimage to the ANFD also enjoy strolling through E Street stalls or kicking back with a cold drink and listen- ing to some great local music.”
