You don’t have to be an expert to support someone going through a tough time, you just need to be there, be able to listen without judgement, and take the time to follow up. Use these 4 steps to start an R U OK? conversation:

Canowindra Show Competition Winners: Colouring in Competition winners include – High School – Kirbie Mongan, Stella Moore, Samuel Bullock and Jake Hamilton, Pre-School – Ivy McDonald, Stage 3 – Hayley Jessop, Hannah Gordon, Holly Pull and Chloe Townsend, Stage 2 – Annie Pull, Matilda Thomas, Sam Hamilton and Racheal Hailstone, Stage 1 – Claire Pengilly, Max Wilson, Emily Bullock and Jay Burn, Kinder – Jack Daly, Jack Nash, Sophie Payne, Kayden Smith and George McKenzie. The winner of the new cover design for 2020 is Anika Macela – Front Cover and Louise Hailstone for the Back Cover. Featuring in the Schedule winners were Emily Bullock and Lachlan Dunkley. All of these winners will receive a free ride ticket donated by the Showman’s Guild.

Raffle Tickets: Call into the Phoenix office at 84 Gaskill St and purchase a Central West Tractor Trek Group Raffle Ticket and you could win a brand new Hyundai i30. Tickets are only $5 and winners are drawn on 28th September 2019.

Applications Now Open: For the CWA Music and Voice Scholarship for 2020. This scholarship awards a Canowindra-based student money towards the costs of continuing their musical or vocal development. In return the student is asked to perform at the annual CWA Sunday Serenade.
