Last Saturday the Minor Singles Final was played between Nick Delaney and Paul Markcrow. This match was worthy of a final with the scores close throughout the game.

After 31 ends the scores were 26-24 in favour of Paul. Paul was able to score four shots on the next end and one shot on the last end to win the final 31-24. A Consistency Singles match was also played between Peter Taylor and Tony Tuimauga where Tony had a comfortable win 152-118.

Saturday August 3 – Consistency Singles – V Mirto v D Beath and Marker C Webb.

Sunday August 4 O’Brien Cup – R Traves and B McClintock v N Delaney and P Lees.

Saturday August 17 – Bob and Shirley Robson sponsors of Mixed Mufti Bowls afternoon. Prizemoney of $300 with $180 for winners and $120 for runners up. Two games of 12 ends being Turn Around Triples.

Teams may be men, women or mixed with names in by 12.30pm for 1pm start. Entry fee being $10 per person.

Nominations are now called for the Mixed Pairs as well as the Major and Minor Triples.
