Bill Paul has handed over the reigns of his iconic flooring store to local residents Nick and Nadine Daly.
Bill purchased the iconic Strand Theatre in 1976 after outgrowing his smaller store at 87 Gaskill St (where the Deli Lama is now located). “I have been here at this location for 52 years,” said Bill. “I thoroughly enjoyed my time and career here, servicing Canowindra and surrounds,” said Bill.
“I want to thank my loyal customers and staff who have supported the business over the years,” continued Bill.
The transition took place on 1st July 2019 and Nick and Nadine Daly have some big plans for the store! Be sure to call in and check out the transformation inside the iconic building.
“We are excited to add Daly Flooring and Carpet to our current business Daly Construction Co,” said Nick Daly.
“I am very excited and grateful to Bill for giving me this opportunity,” continued Nick.
Bill has a few things planned for his retirement including fishing and working on his farm just outside of Canowindra. “I want to wish Nick and Nadine all the best with the store!” said Bill.
Daly Flooring and Carpet is open Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday 9am – 3pm, Wednesday 9am – 5pm and Saturday 9am – 1pm. Consultation outside these hours are available by appointment.
