Local Canowindra resident Bill Paul will soon hang up the fire hose for the last time at the Canowindra Fire Station. Bill has been Captain of the Canowindra Brigade for the past 40 years.
Bill was recently awarded the 4th Clasp for Long Service and Good Conduct during his 50 years of service to FRNSW at a lovely dinner held at the Canowindra Services Club.
Present at the dinner were Brett Jackson Zone Commander, Murray West Area Commander for Metro West, Robert McNeil Assistant Commissioner Regional Operations and Steven Hearst Regional Commissioner Region West.
