Do you know about the proposed gas station for 19-23 Gaskill Street? To my mind it would destroy our historic main street, cause traffic problems between the pool and the shopping area.
Trucks which are not allowed in the main street would have difficulty both turning into Gaskill from Tilga and exiting either by crossing traffic back to Tilga or turning at Ryall St.
Children and others walking to/from the pool would be at risk. It will also disrupt the lifestyle of residents in the vicinity who have purchased their homes to be close to the historic township.
If you feel as strongly as I do about this ridiculous proposal please contact Cabonne Council before 8th July 2019.
