St Edward’s Primary School Canowindra will be opening its doors on Friday 21st June for community members, interested local families, preschool families, parents and grandparents to have a look at the facilities and resources on offer in the modern classroom environments.
St Edward’s is currently taking enquiries and enrolments for the Kinder class for 2020. The school are also planning the ‘Little Saint’s’ Kindergarten Orientation Program set to commence during Term 3.
St Edward’s Primary School have recently had renovations within the school and would love to share them with the Canowindra and surrounding communities. The school is looking forward to sharing with visitors strategies they use to assist students to develop their literacy and numeracy skills, the use of technology devices to enhance and engage learning, and the involvement of students in special lessons such as robotics, music, gym and creative play.
The morning will run from 10am to 11am and include a tour of the school and morning tea. Future students will be able to check out the state-of-the-art classrooms, play in the amazing gross motor room and even participate in a lesson in the Kinder room.
Principal Mr Ken McNamara is looking forward to sharing the school with interested families and will be able to answer any questions.
