The CWA of Canowindra are looking for new members to join the CWA Choir for 2019.
The CWA will be putting on Sunday Serenade – an afternoon of fine local music and poetry later in the year to raise money for the annual CWA Canowindra Music and Voice Scholarships.
Choir rehearsals will commence from Saturday 15th June at 3.30pm at the CWA Hall in Blatchford St Canowindra. For more information please phone Marion Wilson on 6344 1716.
The next CWA Canowindra branch meeting will be held on Saturday 29th June from 1-3.30pm at the CWA Hall in Blatchford St. Head along and listen to the interesting guest speakers that change each month. Please make sure you RSVP by the Tuesday before the meeting at Canowindra Pharmacy for catering purposes.
The Canowindra CWA will hold another Boomerang Bag workshop Day on Sunday 30th June from 10am to 1pm at the Hall. Come along and make some reusable shopping bags from donated material. The bags will be distributed and sold at local markets to encourage local people to BYO shopping bags when shopping.
