Support for Diana Frost and her opinion of the costs and charges of ADSL.

19 March, 2014 By Canowindra Phoenix Editor

To Editor,

This letter is written in support for Diana Frost and her opinion of the costs and charges, of any services supplied by Telstra. To put in a land line they want $300, even though there are lines either side of where you want it, and once it’s on they then proceed to charge you for it. I wanted to put the internet on, to do that you have to put the phone line in. What a good lurk that would be, Telstra offers no service unless you pay for it.

On pre-paid mobile phones, monthly charges apply in 30 days, unless you top it up and they can confiscate any money left over. USE IT OR LOSE IT, was being used by Telstra long before Wayne Swan thought of it.

The laws that govern Telstra are loop holes in the constituted law of the land; they are dictators that use bullying tactics. That’s where they get the money from to give golden handshakes to their corporate chiefs. One went back to his own country with $14 million. It’s a disgrace and an insult to the intelligence of all Australians! We are not on a level playing field. We are behind the eight ball from the start of play.

We have birth rights and also have our democratic international human rights. It’s time we all started speaking up for ourselves. When the truth is spoken there will always be victims and casualties. Don’t let these corporate chiefs camouflage the truth, have your say and have an opinion.
