The team at Viridis Ag have spent November growing, shaping and admiring their new “Mo’s” as the entire team took part in Movember.
The men have been participating in Movember for the past 7 years and their has been some stiff competition along the way with who can grow the best! This year the best Mo’s went to Brad Howard and Graeme Smyth. The team like the banter and bonding that Movember creates in their work team.
Movember is the leading charity changing the face of men’s health. They are addressing some of the biggest health issues faced by men including prostate cancer, testicular cancer, and mental health and suicide prevention. The Movember Foundation know what works for men, and how to find and fund the most innovative research to have both a global and local impact. They are continuously challenging the status quo, and invest quickly in what works. In 15 years they have funded more than 1,200 men’s health projects around the world.
By 2030 they are hoping to have reduced the number of men dying prematurely by 25%.
“We started participating in Movember about 7 years ago when a former Manager I worked with committed suicide,” said Rob Atkinson.
“Men’s health is a great cause to support and I like that it starts a conversation when you walk down the street,” said Rob.
