The NSW Government has just opened another round of funding for new tourism projects in regional NSW, and it wants you to think BIG. The NSW Government has $100 million available for new tourism projects across regional NSW with round two of the $300 million Regional Growth—Environment and Tourism Fund now open. Of the $100
million, up to $50 million will be available for regionally iconic tourism activation projects that cost over $5 million. Applications for the fund will be open from 13 August to 21 September, 2018. For more information, visit www.nsw.gov.au.

Cano Mocs and Docs: A short film festival will be hosted in Canowindra at the Ageof Fishes Museum on October 13th, 2018 and is set to feature short form documentaries and mockumentaries from all over the world. The idea behind Cano Mocs and Docs’ is to showcase the marvels of STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering and Maths) subjects. The St Edwards Primary School Kinder 2019 Little Saints: Orientation Program will commence on Monday, 3rd September and be held over the following dates from 9-11am. Monday 3rd September (Parent and children attend), Monday 10th, 17th, 24th September and Monday 22nd October only children attend on these dates.
Daffodil Day: On Friday Canowindra showed there generous support for Daffodil Day with over $1,432 raised through the selling of fresh daffodils, teddy bears and brooches out the front of Lawrences IGA. Rob Morris, Co-ordinator would like to thank everyone for the support on the day.
