Bendigo Bank have announced today, that Ian Simpson and Co Canowindra will be the new agency for Bendigo Bank in Canowindra.
Chairperson of the Community Bank Committee, Cheryl Newsom said, “We are delighted with this announcement, after what would seem a rather lengthy process.
This is the first step towards the establishment of our Community Bank here in Canowindra and the agency will be open once all of the fit out has been completed and the relevant staff have undertaken their training.”
“This should be within the next 4-6 weeks. By having the agency open, this will mean that local people can once again enjoy the benefits of a full banking service here in Canowindra, after NAB closed their doors last year.”
“If you are looking to open an account or take out a mortgage or a personal loan, then the team from Orange, headed by Belinda
Larkin can help in the meantime until the Agency is open,” said Cheryl.
Belinda Larkin, Orange Manager for Bendigo Bank has been spending quite a lot of time in the district and she will be looking forward to meeting many existing and potential new customers once the Agency has been opened.
Ian Simpson and Co is located at 80 Gaskill Street, just opposite Montrose House and the front of their office has been converted already into a banking office.
